During the Keronite process, a sophisticated electric current is formed through a bath of non-toxic electrolyte solution. This technology, known as plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO), transforms the surface of an alloy with a hard ceramic, which is extremely resistant to corrosion and abrasion.
Environmentally friendly KeroniteKeronite is an extremely environmentally friendly surface treatment technique. Unlike several of the more traditional methods of surface treatment.
